Those black, suede snow boots with the fringe down the back. Slightly, ever so slightly, too small. Nice flat soles. Good if the weather is between 30F and 40F. Below 30F and they don't keep my toes warm. Not, repeat, not waterproof. At all. Were they ever? I can't remember. Now, definitely not waterproof. The feeling of wetness starts in the left heel and eventually is everywhere. Should be comfortable for long walks, if they weren't ever so slightly too small. Or my feet ever so slightly too big. Do they have no presence when you can't see the fringe? When they are peeking out of long pants.
